On behalf of the council and residents of Tunstead and Sco Ruston the Parish Council wish to send our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II today. She has reigned during some difficult times and has been an inspiration to us all throughout her reign. She will be sadly missed.

The next meeting of Tunstead Parish Council, on 20th September, is cancelled due to the death of the Queen.

Tunstead PC contacted the organisers of Camp Agudah regarding concerns about children blocking roads as well as misbehaving. Tunstead PC received a prompt reply and confirmation that appropriate action was being taken to ensure that the issues were quickly dealt with and to prevent issues arising again.

Tunstead PC also asked Tunstead’s beat manager if he could look into this when he attended the last PC meeting.

Hopefully no further issues will arise. However, should issues arise in the future, feel free to contact the PC.

Church Road will be closed between 5-7 September 2022.
