  • Road closure in Tunstead due to burst water main – Shop Lane and Mill Lane


    Due to a burst water main, Shop Lane and Mill Lane may be temporarily closed between 2nd to 8th December.



  • Road closure affecting B1150


    NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the B1150 Church Street from its junction with U19066 Tunstead Road for 900m south-westwards in the PARISH OF TUNSTEAD because of new water connection works.

    The road will be temporarily subject to a 40mph speed restriction from 22nd to 25th November 2022 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 4 days within the period.

  • Crowgate Street closed on 17th November 2022


    NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U19171 Crowgate Street from its junction with U19170 Crowgate Street for 120m south-eastwards in the PARISH OF TUNSTEAD because of NCC carriageway subsidence investigation works.

    The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) on 17th November 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 1 day within the period.

    Alternative route is via: Crowgate Street, Stone Lane, Church Road, Crowgate Street (Tunstead, Ashmanhaugh).

    (If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

    Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

    In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
